Our vision
Our organization is a welcoming space for all who identify as women. Regardless of your skin color, address, abilities, background, age, or religion, you are embraced here. We believe that our differences make us stronger, bolder, and more interesting, and we celebrate them through various community service and volunteer opportunities.
Our mission
Through our community service initiatives, we actively support schools and non-profit organizations in the greater Cincinnati area that aim to enhance our community. We also provide fun, welcoming, and supportive volunteer opportunities for our members.
ABOUT THE JWC OF WYOMING
Our story
The JWC of Wyoming, formerly known as the Junior Woman's Club of Wyoming, was established by a group of women who first gathered at the Wyoming Golf Club in February 1948. As their community grew, they aimed to create a network of women in their age group focused on social and community service initiatives. Around this time, the old Civic Center building suffered a fire, and one of the club's initial projects was to help rebuild and refurbish it. Since then, the club has continued to support the community through various volunteer opportunities, providing assistance to local organizations and contributing funds for meaningful community projects. We are proud to carry on this legacy today.

Community, connection, and service are at the heart of everything we do. Our commitment to community service keeps us aligned with our mission. When we uplift our community, we all rise together. We believe that connection, strong relationships, and shared purpose create the foundation for meaningful impact.
Our impact
During our 2024-2025 membership year, we proudly raised over $39,000—every dollar of which was distributed to deserving organizations in Wyoming and the greater Cincinnati area. These funds directly support schools, nonprofits, and community programs focused on education, health, and essential services. Through our community service efforts, we provide classroom resources, fund critical initiatives, and assist those in need, helping to strengthen the community we love. None of this would be possible without the generosity of our members, donors, and supporters who share our commitment to giving back and creating meaningful volunteer opportunities.
